The Park offers not only a 2.5km trail, but is also a popular venue for celebrations and events such as concerts, theatre productions and festivals, as well as weddings, parties and gatherings.
Pearl's Hill City Park
As part of the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) Master Plan 2019, there are plans to make provision for a trail that connects from Fort Canning Park to Pearl’s Hill City Park through the scenic Singapore River.
Pearl’s Hill City Park is a hidden gem of peace and tranquillity. Built around a reservoir on top of a hill, the park is situated within a bustling Chinatown and a great place to take a brief respite from pace of city life.

Besides the usual modes of transport, living in close proximity to the Singapore River has an additional perk for residents of CanningHill Piers condo: a very different transport option!
Singapore River : Water Taxi!
The Singapore River is a 3.2-kilometre-long waterway that has been the lifeline of Singapore for almost 200 years. In its earlier days, the river-port’s waterways and quays were hubs of economic activity as flotillas of boats plied its waters, loading and unloading their goods for import or re-export.
These days, besides serving as one of the most scenic places in Singapore, the River also offers Water Taxis as an alternative mode of transport.
The water taxis currently cover 5 stops: Robertson Quay, Clemenceau, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, and the Esplanade. These places will cover some attractions such as the Asian Civilisations Museum, Raffles’ Landing Site, Merlion Park, Esplanade Theatre, and Singapore Flyer.

SERVICE HOURS: 08:00 – 10:00 and 17:00 – 19:00 Mon to Fri (No service on weekends and PHs)

Mass Rapid Transport (MRT)
Residents at CanningHill Piers will be able to access Fort Canning MRT directly via an underpass, a convenience which will delight owners, residents and visitors to the development.
Fort Canning MRT is part of the Downtown Line and commuters can enjoy a short train ride to access places such as Chinatown, CBD, Bayfront and Bugis, and also direct access to the Airport without having to change trains!
Alternatively, a short walk away to Clarke Quay MRT, part of the North East Line, will offer access to other areas of attraction such as HarbourFront (and Sentosa), Dhoby Ghaut, Little India and Farrer Park.
Driving: Arterial Roads and Expressways
The excellent central location of CanningHill Piers provides access to some of the major arterial roads in Singapore, and the Central Expressway is but a short drive away.
The Central Expressway (CTE) is a 15.8km long motorway that runs right through the middle of the island, connecting the city centre and the northern region.
It also intersects with the other major expressways including Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), Pan Island Expressway (PIE), SLE (Seletar Expressway).

Singapore General Hospital (SGH) - 7 min Drive
Located at Outram Road, the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) established in 1821, is Singapore’s first general hospital and oldest medical institution.
SGH was ranked as the third best hospital in the world by Newsweek in 2019.
It is also the flagship hospital of SingHealth and the principal teaching hospital for the Duke–NUS Medical School. Its campus includes four national specialty centres, namely the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS).
Mount Elizabeth Hospital - 11 min Drive
Mount Elizabeth operates two hospitals in the city centre – one located at Orchard, and the other at Novena, both of which are a convenient drive away.
The private hospital is a choice facility for many and caters to patients of all ages from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and international patients from all countries visiting Singapore.

School of the Arts (SOTA)
